LINK by Lenscowboy
Browser-native compositor

One graph. Every step.

LINK is a node-graph for AI-assisted compositing and finishing — generate, composite, grade, and deliver in one live canvas. Drag, connect, run. Every output is traceable end-to-end.

Why LINK

Built for production, not prompts.

Tabs, dropdowns, and one-shot prompt boxes break the moment your pipeline has more than one step. LINK treats generation like the graph it really is — branching, merging, replayable, and traceable.

One canvas, one model

Image, video, and audio generation, local compositing, and PAL multipass renders — all on one canvas, with one mental model.

Provenance baked in

Every node, every input, every render is written to the LensCowboy Studio Vault — a hash-chained provenance ledger, described in the VES taxonomy, that satisfies C2PA, EU AI Act, and IP-grade audit. Free for anyone serving real clients.

Cache that knows your graph

Content-addressed cache means only the dirty branch re-runs. Tweak one node deep in the chain; everything upstream is reused. Catastrophic for vendor bills. Magic for iteration speed.

Three steps

Drag · Connect · Generate.

The whole canvas — drag a vendor in, connect the inputs, hit Run. Live WebSocket updates from every dispatcher, terminal status pills per node, and outputs that drop straight into Drive.

01 · Drag

Pick from any backend.

Vendors, local comp, ComfyUI, PAL — every backend is one icon click from the palette. Drag onto the canvas, drop, done.

02 · Connect

Wire inputs to outputs.

Drag a wire from any output port to any input. Type-aware: image ports light up for image flows, video ports for video. Tab opens a quick-create at the cursor.

03 · Generate

Run. Watch. Repeat.

Hit Run. Each node lights up as its dispatcher picks it up. Outputs stream into a live viewer. Cache hits skip the bill. Misses run in parallel where the graph allows.

Not just a prompt box

A real compositor underneath.

Generation gets you a frame. Finishing gets you a shot. LINK ships the compositing half too — colour-correct, format-aware, and built to sit right beside the vendors in the same graph.

A compositing toolkit

Merge with the blend modes you expect — over, screen, multiply, overlay, the full PS/Nuke set — plus transform, resize, channel routing, crop, blur and mask. Mismatched sizes reconcile themselves, and merge previews live in the browser as you tune.

ACES/OCIO colour

Real scene-linear colour management on the OCIO ACES reference config — working space, display and view transforms pulled from your own studio colour settings. The viewer adds exposure, gamma and per-channel scopes.

Multi-channel EXR

OpenEXR in and out — multi-channel, high-bit-depth, AOVs carried through the channel-routing node. The real thing high-end work needs, not a flattened RGB stand-in.

Runs on your machine

Heavy frames can run locally, on your own box — your EXR never has to leave your disk. The graph keeps that work on-prem and only reaches the cloud when a node genuinely needs a hosted model.

3D in the graph

The PAL viewport node brings multipass 3D — beauty, depth, normals, motion — straight onto the canvas, ready to composite with generated and shot elements.

Speaks VES

Nodes and channels use the VES (Visual Effects Society) taxonomy as their shared vocabulary — the language your pipeline already speaks, so LINK fits in rather than reinventing.
